Fall SHSAT testing is still TBA
The SHSAT is usually held during the fall during the very end of October through November over multiple testing dates usually starting with the SHSAT 8, and then mixed SHSAT 8 and SHSAT 9 testing dates. Recently it has kicked off via a "SHSAT Day" for most NYC DOE public school students in grade 8, with the additional dates for 9th graders, other 8th graders, non-DOE students, etc.
As you can see below, the DOE has become erratic the past few years in not only informing the public about when testing will be, but also the time period it will be occurring.
