Greg's Tutoring NYC has created a number of YouTube livestreams pertaining to Grade 3 through Grade 8 math. Whether your student is in elementary, middle, private, Catholic, charter, or a public district school, or homeschooled, no matter the state or even country, you'll find the grade level math talk you've been looking for.

These videos contain a review of problems from past NY State Tests that most students got wrong.  However, these questions apply to grade level math in general, and you should be able to ignore that they are problems from NY, and that they are problems from State Exams.  The focus is not on testing, but on topics, concepts, problem solving, critical thinking, as well as fluidity, numeracy, and mastery of grade level math.

That said, these reviews can be useful for your grade level state administered exams, as well as grade level tests such as the SHSAT, Hunter, SSAT, ISEE, TACHS, HSPT, CHSEE, BCA, etc.

NOTE: These videos are useful not just for students, but for perplexed families, parents, and guardians too!

NOTE: Grade level proficiency accumulates. Therefore, it is often not sufficient to review only grade level material. Often you also need to review past material in order to obtain a realistic way to move forward. For instance, a Grade 6 student should also often review Grade 5 material and even Grade 4 too. Afterall, these are from the hardest problems. But, even when not, some elementary and middle schools do not teach all the required topics and even when they do it may have been taught poorly. Please heed this suggestion!

NOTE: My focus is on concepts, topics, strategy, numeracy, etc. As such, note that I rarely use a calculator. Furthermore, as you'll see, most of the questions do not even require the use of a calculator. Often, once a problem is approached properly, the numbers "fall into place." Yes, you need computational skills for some of the arithmetic, but if you observe, many of the problems are more than just computational drills. The key is striking the right balance.
